When it comes to females and comedy, the stigma has always been that “pretty girls are just not funny”. Hollywood appears to be exploring a new formula with funny girl and natural beauty Jennia Fredrique.

Jennia was recently featured in award winning MTV film “Noah’s Arc: Jumping the Broom” which made its television debut on Logo Network Monday July 19th. In the film, Brandy (Jennia Fredrique) along with Alex (Rodney Chester) “steal the show” according to one online review. Devotees of the hit TV show who didn't get the chance to see the 'Noah' film in theaters, were able to laugh and cry from the comfort of their homes. While the ensemble cast and the films outstanding writing proved to be both smart and entertaining, comedic beauty Jennia Fredrique delivered an infectious charm that was simply hilarious.

Ms. Fredrique brings something fresh and real to her comedy in not just this film, but in virtually everything she touches! Jennia recently opened for comedian Damon Wayans in Los Angeles, and now has a new online series "Thrills Me!" on Youtube where she addresses an array of hot topics as well as celebrities in the news, including Heidi Montag, Chris Brown and Beyonce to name a few.

In addition Jennia is currently vying for her OWN Show on Oprah's new network set to launch in January 2011. Among the nearly 10,000 online video submissions, those of Zach Anner and Jennia Fredrique were without a doubt among the best. Unlike most audition videos, Jennia and Zach showed true talent, humor and personality. Only 5 of 40 top finalists have been named, as the competition has been shrouded with controversy surrounding the rules and voting.

Jennia shows audiences that pretty and funny is more like peanut butter and jelly than oil and water, in that the two can indeed go together quite naturally.

In a recent interview, Jennia said, "Laughter is one of the best feelings in the world, and the fact that I get to cause people to laugh makes life worth living!" Jennia has had an array of recurring TV roles and guest star appearances including “The Tonight Show” with Jay Leno. Fredrique is also a part of the “Here We Go” campaign for Bud Lite, where she stars in their hilarious new garage sale commercial.

Jennia hopes to use her natural gift of comedy to change lives and put smiles on the faces of millions. She is definitely one to look out for.
