Author Alan Trustman pens two intriguing stories tailored for readers’ enjoyment.

Alan Trustman, screenwriter of the classics THE THOMAS CROWN AFFAIR and BULLITT, announces the release of something new in reading matter, the novelized screenplays THE JUDAS PROPHECY and TWENTY-TWO LOVERS.

Many people have difficulty reading screenplays. These screenplays have been "novelized" into quick and easy-to-read page turners. They are not in screenplay format but they are still screenplays in the sense that they can be taken into production tomorrow and, while readable, they are not really novels as they are lacking the descriptions, interior monologue and the brilliant word play so beloved by the literati. They have been written for you.

In TWENTY-TWO LOVERS, Jody’s dinner date is murdered right in front of her and she flees the restaurant. Vanishes. Jake is the detective in charge of the case. He is intrigued, then fascinated, and then obsessed by Jody’s behavior and particularly what he learns about her relationship with Steve, a lawyer and Stephanie, his wife. Jody has always dreamed of a little house in the country with a white picket fence, a husband, and six kids. What man would be worth bearing six of his kids? And how many lovers would it take to find such a man? Jody has always joked that it would take twenty-two. Does Jake have what it takes to be number twenty-two? They have never met in person—yet. A steamy page turner.

In THE JUDAS PROPHECY, Abby, a pretty young, innocent paralegal is stabbed in the New York subway. Who did it and why? Sarah, NYPD Special Victims, tries to solve the murder of her cousin. A car tries to run Sarah off the road as she is returning to the city after Abby's funeral. Why? Another pretty young woman is stabbed to death after a baseball game in Seattle. Why? Both murder victims were in early pregnancy. What is going on? Other pretty young slightly pregnant women are stabbed to death in Rome and Bologna? Why? Sarah joins up with former lover Marco, an Italian detective. Sarah and Marco go to Israel. Is someone trying to destabilize the Catholic Church? The trail leads to Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Monaco and Miami. A page turner in the DA VINCI CODE genre, a better read that would make a much stronger movie.

Twenty-Two Lovers and The Judas Prophecy are enrolled in Xlibris’ Bookstore Returnability Program, which gives booksellers the convenient option of returning excess stocks through Ingram Distribution. For more information on these intriguing books, log on to Xlibris.com.
