New Golf Course Directory, Featuring 360º, Shot-By-Shot Virtual Golf Course Tours Launches

Look Around Golf is a new golf course search engine that includes an online marketing program for golf course professionals. The centerpiece is a virtual tour of the courses., a unique online golf course directory that offers golfers shot-by-shot virtual walk through 3-hole tours of a golf course, has launched. Totally free to golfers, gives golfers the same views of a golf course as if they were standing right on the tee box, the fairway, the fringe or the green.

A Chicago-based company, has a large sampling of Chicago area courses including the famous Cog Hill Golf and Country Club in suburban Lemont. Cog Hill is home to the BMW Open on its championship course, Dubsdread. You can see the virtual tour of all 18 holes of Dubsdread on the website.

Along with a great selection of Chicago area courses, the site features courses in Southern California, including Indian Wells in the Palm Desert and Coronado Municipal in San Diego. Founders James Finlay and Mark Crosier are happy to have added their first course in Las Vegas, Silverstone Golf Club.

“Look Around is really more than just another golf directory,” James Finlay said, “It’s really a completely new way for a golfer to see the course and for a golf course to really show itself off.” Co-founder Mark Crosier continued, “It’s also a complete online marketing service for the golf courses. A blog is being published at which keeps interested golfers up to date with golf course information, golf news, and golf give-a-ways. Thousands of golfers are already using the service to find new and interesting places to play.
