Digital View, the media player company has announced the Mac Beta release of its major upgrade to its free digital media player content management software. Now in version 2 the software is available online or by inquiry for all Digital View media player owners.

‘DV-Studio 2 for the Mac represents a lot of hard work. We’ve completely rebuilt the interface to deliver a much more user friendly experience. DV-Studio is such an important part of how media is organized, scheduled and played back on Digital View media players as well as setting up how interactivity will work with peripherals,’ commented James Henry CEO of Digital View.

DV-Studio 2 Beta for Mac is an important upgrade as previously DV-Studio has only been available on the Windows platform. With a further upgrade later this year to launch DV-Studio 2 for PC, Digital View is demonstrating its commitment to improving its customers experience with its family of ViewStream™ digital media players and all-in-one LCD screen and media player family of VideoFlyer™ products. This free software allows owners of ViewStream™ and VideoFlyer™ media players to create playlists and schedule playback times as well configure network options and view data logs. The upgrade brings more features to network digital signage media owners using Digital View media players at an amazing price - it’s Free.
