Stalker Radar's New Pro II Sport Radar Goes Supersonic.

Stalker Radar, The World Leader in Speed Measurement, is introducing the first sports radar capable of measuring the speed of supersonic objects, the Stalker Pro II.

The Stalker Pro II's 800-mile-per-hour maximum measurable speed is well in excess of the speed of sound at sea level, 768 mph. The Pro II is also the first sports radar capable of simultaneously tracking objects moving both toward and away from the radar.

An outgrowth of the Direction Sensing Radar Technology, first innovated, patented, and introduced by Stalker Radar in 1998, the Pro II's user can choose to track objects approaching the radar, moving away from the radar, or both.

The versatile Stalker Pro II is designed to measure the speed of all moving objects - whether you are at a race, sporting event, or in daily life. The Pro II quickly and accurately measures the speed of: anything moving through the air, over land, or on the water in addition to all type of balls and other projectiles.

The Stalker Pro II can be configured into five different target modes: baseball, carnival, car, tennis, and golf. Each target mode automatically adjusts the Pro II's internal settings for the selected type of target, according to Jim Shaw, Stalker Radar (Applied Concepts) Marketing Director.

In baseball mode, the Pro II measures the peak (release) speed and the plate (roll-down) speed of a baseball pitch. It also measures the speed of a batted ball (traveling in the opposite direction of the pitched ball) and can display all three speeds (release, roll-down, and hit), at the same time.

In car mode, the Pro II tracks vehicles up to 2 miles with ease.

In carnival mode, the Pro II excels in a carnival or midway game setting. The radar can be attached to the side of a backdrop and measure the speed of balls thrown from only a few feet away. Plus, the Pro II can compensate for angle errors in carnival or any other mode.

In Tennis mode, the wide beam width tracks balls in any part of the service court and measures the ball's peak (serve) speed as well as the decelerating live speed.
The Pro II is perfect for all sport speed measurement applications. It comes equipped with a waterproof durable cast aluminum and cast magnesium case with a removable battery handle. This Ka-band sports radar features the highest in technology, but is simple to operate and user-friendly.
