Sony Ericsson has announced the launch of two new competitions on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page, offering fans of the page the opportunity to win specific prizes.
Fans of Sony Ericsson's social media pages now have the opportunity to win either a brand new Xperia™ X10 phone, or an Official FIFA World Cup replica football. The competitions, which are running simultaneously are expected to result in a high number of entries for both competitions, given the topicality and interest in the FIFA World Cup in South Africa, and the desirability of the Xperia™ X10 range of handsets.
The two competitions are the latest in a line of highly successful fan competitions run on the Sony Ericsson Facebook page following hot on the heels of South African Wave competition, which encouraged contestants to submit videos of themselves waving, with a range of FIFA World Cup-related prizes.
Entry figures to all competitions run to date have been high and is further evidence of the strong relationship social media channels has allowed Sony Ericsson to build with its fans and for fans to engage with the brand.
