Hot Shot Media is excited to announce the judging panel in the Snapshot Scholar Photo Contest.
A five-member panel will judge Snapshot Scholar. Three of the judges are professionals from the technology industry who have a passion for photographs. Two of the judges are students from local art schools in the San Francisco Bay Area. Louie Greaves, a Masters of Fine Arts student, represents the Academy of Art University. Clay Brown, a Bachelor of Science in Media Art & Animation student, represents the Art Institute of California—San Francisco.
The five-week contest on Snapshot Scholar allowed students and alumni from Stanford University and the University of the California—Berkeley to submit their best photos and vote on others’ photos. Each week, the photos with the most votes moved onto the next round. At the end of the fifth round, the top twenty photos will be presented to the judges who will decide the winner. The winner will receive a $5,000 scholarship and a $2,000 endowment for their University.
