Alchemy, the Austin-based leader in training solutions for the global workforce, is continuing to improve its commitment to the food manufacturing and processing industry with the addition of an industry relations manager and two new sales managers. Joining the Alchemy team will be Laura Dunn Nelson, Steven Hatch and John Walsh.
Laura Dunn Nelson, a resident of Stephenville, TX, has almost 20 years experience in the food industry and holds a microbiology degree from the University of Texas at Arlington. As Alchemy’s industry relations manager, Nelson is responsible for developing and managing Alchemy’s relationship with various associations within the food industry. Prior to joining the company, Nelson served as a senior account manager for Silliker, an internationally accredited provider of food safety and consulting services.
Steven Hatch and John Walsh have joined the Alchemy sales team and will be responsible for growing Alchemy’s customer base. Hatch is a resident of Illinois and graduate of Colorado State University and Northern Illinois University. Walsh, a resident of Concord, MA, has a communications degree from Massachusetts Communication College, in addition to an extensive business development background in sales and marketing.
