Papa Gino’s Pizzeria and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches launched today its “Swipe and Score” Rewards Sweepstakes, as part of its expanding rewards card program, which boasts more than 200,000 registered guests. In addition to the “Swipe and Score” program, Papa Gino’s, Inc. bolstered its digital efforts by creating a new digital marketing manager position. The new digital marketing manager is industry veteran Frank Auer. Mr. Auer will be responsible for the new “Swipe and Score” Sweepstakes, along with other loyalty initiatives, digital marketing and the company’s social media efforts.
The “Swipe and Score” Sweepstakes begins on Monday, July 5th and ends on September 5th. The Grand Prize winner will receive 8 tickets to attend a game in aVIP Suite at Fenway. The 9-week promotion will offer weekly prizes of major league tickets to Boston’s favorite baseball team, as well as Papa Gino’s pizza for a year and D’Angelo lunch for a year. Red Sox hats and t-shirts will also be given away weekly. Players will be eligible to win bonus points through the “Swipe and Score” Rewards Instant Win Game.
More than 5,000 prizes will be awarded throughout the “Swipe and Score” Sweepstakes. Weekly awards include one 100-point bonus, five 50-point bonuses, ten 25-point bonuses and five hundred 10-point bonuses. All bonus points will be appear automatically on the user’s rewards program account balance within 24 hours after being awarded. The grand prize will be chosen from all entries during the 9-week run of the sweepstakes.

When guests enter the Swipe and Score Sweepstakes, they will be awarded an Instant Win Game play. One play is awarded at entry with additional plays awarded each day a player returns and logs into the “Swipe and Score” Sweepstakes. Players will also receive additional plays by visiting a local Papa Gino’s or D’Angelo and using their rewards cards. In addition, Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo will reward loyal Facebook and Twitter fans with promotional codes during the sweepstakes. Papa Gino’s Digital Marketing Manager
Frank Auer joined Papa Gino’s, Inc. as Digital Marketing Manager responsible for overseeing the company’s online digital programs, including all loyalty and rewards card programs, as well as managing the company’s social media efforts. Prior to joining Papa Gino’s, Inc., Mr. Auer worked as an In-Bound Marketing Consultant for Hubspot, Inc., where he aided small- and mid-sized businesses in creating and executing social media strategies. Mr. Auer was also director of marketing and content development for Elm Technologies and director of marketing and business development for Ka-Zam Software, Inc. He also has extensive events and video production experience working for NBC Universal and several video production companies. He holds an MBA from Boston College and a Bachelors of Communications from the University of Miami. He resides with his wife in Weymouth, Massachusetts.
