ATI Systems, the industry-leading mass notification provider, has recently received the award to install a MSN system for the Ohio Air National Guard / 180th Fighter Wing, Swanton OH.
ATI will be providing one of its state of the art emergency notification systems. The system will be used to provide outdoor notification using four ATI high powered speaker stations (HPSS). The HPSSs will be used to provide voice and visual notification. It will use eleven ATI indoor PA interface units (PA-RTU) to interface to existing PA system and to control electronics message signs.
The system will be providing audio alerting signals using alert tones, prerecorded voice messages, in addition to live public announcement.
The outdoor units will use multiple color strobes to provide visual notification. The units are equipped with obstruction lights required to be used close to flight lines.
The indoor units will provide visual notification by controlling electronic digital message signs.
The system will be controlled by two ATI central control stations. The control stations will be used to monitor, control, and document all the ATI system activities. In addition, the control stations will be used to interface to AtHoc MSN system. The control station will initiate network alert messages to computer on the base LAN using the AtHoc NAS capabilities. The user will be able to initiate ATI system activation from the AtHoc server.
