In just 78 days from their launch in April, OfferMobi's network has swelled its ranks to over 1000 mobile focused publishers. Borrowing from the online Cost per Action model (CPA), OfferMobi is forging new ground here is the US by ditching the traditional model of paying advertising outlets for impressions or clicks. Roth was referencing Google's latest announcement that they are beginning to test combining their pay per click results to a cost-per-action online ad model. Google recently announced that it has been testing its cost-per-action service over the last 6 months where marketers pay only for ads that have been acted upon by consumers - such as a purchase or registration on a site. OfferMobi achieves this same model in the mobile ad space today.
OfferMobi promotes brands such as comScore, AllState, Service Magic, 1-800-Dentist, Money4Gold, Art Institute Schools, Hair Club For Men and Nationwide Insurance among 20 or so other advertisers.
