Vello Systems and Daxten Sign Europe, Middle East, Africa Distribution Agreement

Relationship expands revenue opportunities and accelerates the adoption of Green IT data center solutions internationally.

Vello Systems, a leader in next-generation high performance IP+Optical™ networking systems for carriers and enterprise, today announced a distribution agreement with UK-based Daxten for the Europe, Middle East, and African (EMEA) markets. This agreement is mutually significant as Vello Systems expands its international footprint and Daxten expands their portfolio offering of data center optimization solutions. Founded in 1994, Daxten is a recognized leader in data center technologies and optimization techniques. Daxten is well known for its Green IT best-practices with a focus on lowering data center energy costs and boosting efficiency.

The distribution agreement, effective immediately, will enable Daxten to resell Vello Systems’ CX™ family of networking systems including both the CX16000 and newly introduced CX4000 along with the company’s easy-to-use point-and-click WaveMaster™ management and provisioning system. The CX family with its native Ethernet and Fiber Channel capabilities allows data center operators to construct highly scalable, highly flexible, ultra low-latency connectivity fabrics across wide area networks. This in turn enables a host of economical and efficient distance-computing applications such as cloud computing, financial operations, and disaster recovery.
