Schletter Inc., who has coined the industry phrase “One Size Does Not Fit All”, announced today that just months after celebrating their second anniversary since the founding of its North American headquarters, it recently surpassed over 100-megawatts of power equipment sold, which marks more than just a business milestone for the solar mounting company.

“We would like to thank all of our valued clients for their faith in Schletter Inc., and its products over these past couple of years”, said Martin Hausner, President of Schletter Inc., which is located in Tucson, Arizona. He went on to say “We must also thank our Associates, our Distributors, and our Suppliers for their hard work and dedication in helping us always look for ways to reduce the production lead-times and system costs, without sacrificing the quality for which we stand. This is a major achievement that no one could have imagined when we launched our U.S. operations just over two-years ago, as a manufacturer and distributor of solar mounting systems”.

IBC regulatory compliance is mandatory, and often a costly requirement of operating in today’s business environment. Schletter Inc., fully understands the need of its organization to continue to increase design and operating efficiencies, while driving down costs, and in turn continuing to comply with regulatory requirements. Clients, in turn, can rest assured that they receive a custom designed product that guarantees maximum production reliability.

To continue to reduce the production lead-times and system costs, without sacrificing the quality of their products, Schletter recently invested in a 70,000 square foot manufacturing and distribution facility, equipped with the most technically advanced, semi-and-fully automatic and energy-efficient, production equipment. This, in-turn, with an increase in professional staffing across all levels, as well as with the establishment of an Northeast Regional Office, has enabled Schletter to better expedite the order fulfillment process, ensuring that delivery is made before the scheduled installation date.

“Even as we celebrate this milestone, we must rededicate ourselves to the world-class engineering, technological leadership, and product innovation that have enabled us to meet the needs of so many valued clients.” Hausner said. He went on to say, “As our business grows, as a company, we want to ensure that we are minimizing our impact on the Earth’s climate while continuing to fuel our economy, and pride ourselves on the additional green jobs that we are able to create within North America; not only now, but in the many years to come as well.”

Schletter operations encompass over 40-years in the design and manufacturing of steel and aluminum products, and rose to be the largest provider of solar mounting systems in Europe, supplying utility-sized PV-projects. In the last 4-years, over 1,000 dedicated employees have designed, developed, and produced PV-racks for more than 4.5 GW of installed module capacity on roofs and ground mounted systems, from project sizes ranging from 1- to-over 500 MW, across a variety of different climatic regions.

In 2008, armed with its long history and success as an industry pioneer, Schletter expanded its global footprint to the United States, and selected Tucson, Arizona, as the home for its first U.S. operations and manufacturing facility. In April of 2010, Schletter Canada Inc., was established, and is located in Windsor, Ontario. The expansion was in order to best service the growing demand for Schletter’s solar mounting systems, and the expansion allows the company to offer local sales and distribution support services to its fast growing client base in the province of Ontario and the Canadian region as a whole. In addition the expansion will also allow Schletter to more easily support their clients’ needs, and meet local-content requirements.

Schletter’s commitment to the U.S. market is strong, and planning is already underway for other key strategic manufacturing sites within North America. From these locations, Schletter will engineer, manufacture, and distribute their solar mounting systems and products to North and South America.
