Top Brands Lead the List of Sponsors for the 6th Annual BlogHer Conference this August in New York City

Procter and Gamble, PepsiCo, Jimmy Dean/Hillshire Farm, and Walmart Lead the List of 100 Companies Helping BlogHer Deliver a World Class Event to 2400 Attendees.

BlogHer, the leading participatory news, entertainment and information network for women online, today announced the diamond and platinum level sponsors for its sixth annual conference. This year’s event, which sold out in March, 2010, is expected to bring together 2,400 attendees to the Hilton Hotel in New York City, August 6-7.

PepsiCo is supporting women bloggers, a powerful force they recognize as “Women: The 5G Network.” Throughout BlogHer, they’ll be engaging in an interactive discussion about the influence women yield today. At PepsiCo Studios, BlogHer-goers will participate in an interview series, sample products and share “Promises” for a better society alongside the Promise of PepsiCo, the company’s pledge to infuse its Performance with Purpose. GM/Chevrolet, Liberty Mutual Insurance and Ubisoft join BlogHer 2010 as Platinum sponsors.

This year’s event welcomes back GM/Chevrolet. They will have a large presence on the expo floor of the Conference.

Liberty Mutual Insurance also returns with its Responsibility Project, which engages bloggers on the subject of personal responsibility and “doing the right thing” every day by encouraging attendees to share their opinions through various interactive tools.

And new to this year’s event will be interactive entertainment company, Ubisoft. They will highlight family and fitness in their booth with their “Games for Everyone” line and their fitness games “Just Dance 2” and “Your Shape: Fitness Evolved.”

The BlogHer annual conference has shown tremendous growth over the last three years, tripling in size since 2007, adding one thousand attendees since just last year.
