TriStar Plastics, a leader in engineered plastics solutions, today announced it has placed a $1 million stocking order for Rulon® materials and Rulon® bearings with Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, a leader in advanced-technology polymer products. The order follows TriStar’s appointment as the exclusive North American distributor of Rulon® materials.

“With this order, we are well positioned to serve our customers with the delivery they have come to expect from TriStar,” said Richard Cedrone, CEO of TriStar Plastics. “One of the key benefits of the TriStar Advantage is our ability to quickly fulfill time-critical orders for our partners, thanks to our extensive inventory, multiple distribution centers and coast-to-coast engineering and sales offices,” he said.

Rulon® is a versatile, self-lubricating bearing material that can outperform and outlast other materials in its class, including most metal. It is ideal for high-load applications in punishing environments across a broad-range of industries, including food and beverage, agriculture, medical device and manufacturing applications.

“Our engineering team is available to help find just the right Rulon® to match a specific application, and we provide component design, prototype services, and production to make the job complete,“ added Cedrone.
