New picture book follows the comical blunders of ‘EPAMINONDAS’

An amusing story of a young boy with a lack of sound judgment is set to tickle young readers’ funny bone. Released through Xlibris, Missy Harvey’s EPAMINONDAS, Where Is Your Common Sense? is a delightful picture book which follows a boy’s foibles during visits to his grandmother.

The story begins when Epaminondas visits his grandmother’s house. His grandma always had games in store for him and makes special things for him to eat or bring home. One day, his grandma gave him a beautiful chocolate cupcake with lots of icing to eat after dinner. However, due to Epaminondas’ lack of common sense, the cupcake melted as he was going home. To his mother’s surprise, all that was left of the once yummy cupcake is an ugly, brown ball of dough.

During his succeeding visits to grandma’s house, the similar things happened. Grandma always gave him something new to bring; however, his poor thinking always caused things to end with a bad note. From taking home a fresh block of butter to a cute little puppy, something was bound to go wrong. Will Epaminondas ever have common sense?

Perfect for young readers, EPAMINONDAS, Where Is Your Common Sense? is a great addition to children’s bookshelves. For more information on this book, interested parties may log on to Xlibris.com.
