Anyone can participate in the Three Peaks Challenge and have fun - for want of a better word - using it as a means to raise funds for their preferred charity. The most gruelling part of the challenge is completing the Three Peaks within twenty four hours. There is no time for comfortable sleeping as when the walking element is completed it's back into the car and on the road to the next peak waiting to be hiked.

This year Mr McGuinness' team, which included team members from Beswicks Law firm and his wife to make up a fourteen strong squad, didn't quite manage the twenty four hours to complete the challenge but as they has two injured team members, making it in twenty five hours was quite an impressive feat nonetheless.
