ST. PETERSBURG, RUSSIA (PRWEB) July 14, 2010
WorldWide Papa’s, Inc., the exclusive area developer of Papa John’s, Inc. restaurants in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region of Russia, has announced its participation in the U.S. Independence Day Celebration in St. Petersburg, held July 7, 2010. The company was a food sponsor for the event, hosted by The Consulate General of the United States of America in St. Petersburg.
“WorldWide Papa’s was approached to donate Papa John’s pizza for the Independence Day event because it is such a recognized staple of American dining,” said CEO and founder, Darrin Stock. “As the Papa John’s franchisee in St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, this was a valuable opportunity to help further extend the pizza brand to Russian consumers.”
The Consulate General in St. Petersburg hosted approximately 250 St. Petersburg residents during the event, celebrating the 234th anniversary of U.S. Independence Day.
