Gracious Style (http://www.GraciousStyle.com), the high-end retailer of luxury linens and accessories for the home, has introduced several new lines of easy-care table linens. These are high-end collections that combine the softness and elegance of traditional cotton and linen tablecloths with the ease of non-iron care.
These collections include Orchard from Sferra Fine Linens, which feels like the softest cotton and comes in five colors: white, ivory, butter, cinnabar, and lake. Orchard is made from 100% ringspun polyester and features an elegant vine damask for year-round use. Tablecloths are available in ten sizes (including oversized 120" rounds), so it is perfect for entertaining. Napkins are $9.75 each and tablecloths start at $68 each.
For more formal events, Palace, Blossom, Waltz, and Royal all feature very elegant woven damask designs. Palace sports a classic medallion motif on a soft gold background, Blossom and Waltz feature large, allover scroll patterns on ivory and white, and Royal has an oversized damask design on white. All four collections are made from a 55% cotton/45% polyester blend, so they are both soft and absorbent. Napkins are $12 each and tablecloths start at $125 each. All tablecloths in these four collections (except rounds) feature a handsome five-inch solid border.
For more casual events, Polylin is a new collection of colorful linens that is perfect for everyday use. Made in Belgium by Libeco Home, a small company that specializes in high-quality linen products, Polylin is available in eighteen gorgeous colors including apricot, blue sky, corn, and grass green. Polylin is the first collection we have ever offered that combines Belgian linen (55%) and polyester (45%). It feels crisp and supple like Belgian linen, but the polyester makes it easy to use. Napkins are $12 each; tablecloths start at $60.
“These easy care linens are perfect for the way we live today,” notes Carolina Con, the president of Gracious Style. “They are timeless, well-crafted, and a breeze to use.”
