In a new Xlibris release, author C. Edward Samuels (A Dove Among Hawks and Satan’s Penance) once again rivets readers as he continues to chronicle the pulse-raising adventures of Keith G. Roberts in Triple Oaks. In this third installation, readers are taken to the simple yet rewarding life of the south.
It is 1977 and Lt. Keith Roberts of the St. Louis County Combined Major Case Squad has just requested information regarding the 1975 lynching of three Moore County High School students. A peaceful haven of simplicity, Tennessee seems to epitomize the characteristics that define the South. Moore County is not an exception. Love of family, home, and God’s good earth are standards of life. Thus, it becomes very mysterious and disturbing when the peace in the valley is viciously shattered on a balmy summer’s evening in 1975.
With an interest in horrific murders and a passion to solve them, Keith is now determined to shed a light to the gruesome mystery. This crime has piqued his curiosity not because it is his to investigate, but simply because it has remained unsolved for two years. Will this case be finally closed? Readers will find out as heart-stopping encounters and mind-boggling puzzles slowly unravel in Triple Oaks.
