Movies.com Critic Jen Yamato Becomes the First Woman to Join Comic-Con's Prestigious "Masters of the Web" Film Panel, Which Unites the Web’s Top Movie Writers for an Interactive Discussion about New Media’s Influence on Hollywood.

Jen Yamato embodies all the positive traits in today's web-based film journalists. Her vast film knowledge, rich experience, engaging personality and balanced insights make her a true ‘Master of the Web’ and I'm thrilled to have her on this panel.

Movies.com – the ultimate destination for all things movies – is delighted to announce that its own Jen Yamato was selected as the first woman to ever participate in the annual “Masters of the Web” panel at San Diego Comic-Con. “Masters of the Web,” an annual Comic-Con tradition, is a popular fan favorite that brings together the Web’s most influential personalities for a discussion of online movie journalism and its impact on film production and marketing.

The panel is hosted by AMC Theatres’ John Campea, and will be moderated by writer/director Edgar Wright (“Scott Pilgrim vs. the World,” “Shaun of the Dead”) and writer/producer Roberto Orci (“Star Trek,” “Transformers,” “Mission Impossible 3”). This unique, interactive gathering offers fans the opportunity to ask questions of the leading online movie personalities. The panelists are:

Jen Yamato is currently a Movies.com film critic and was previously senior editor at RottenTomatoes.com. Along with her co-critic Dave White, Jen currently writes features and reviews the latest new releases at Movies.com (http://www.movies.com/movie-reviews/jen-yamato).
