Bill Parisi, CEO of Parisi Speed Schools Inc, will be a guest presenter at the 2010 NFL/USA Football Youth Football Summit in Canton, Ohio, on July 21- 22. Participants include Hall of Fame players and coaches, as well as over 200 high school and youth football coaches and administrators from across the nation. The NFL/USA Football Youth Summit, held annually during the Pro Football Hall of Fame Homecoming Weekend and funded by the NFL and NFL Players Association, incorporates seminars and discussions focused on football skills, health and safety, and off-field and personal development.
The summit seeks, through youth and high school coaches, to inspire youngsters to reach their potential as people and athletes, a synergistic objective of the Parisi organization emphasized in Parisi training programs, presentations, the monthly Coaches’ Digest newsletter and upcoming coaching development downloadable modules. As the NFL Youth Football initiative says: “When young athletes step onto a football field, they compete and have fun. They also begin a journey without limits. Getting young people involved in football encourages them to be active and exposes them to values that go well beyond the fundamentals of the game.” Connecting that with the Parisi philosophy, Bill Parisi will be incorporating methods of transitioning sports lessons to life skills as part of his presentation on “Proper Warm-Up and Injury Prevention” and “The 5 Secrets Maximizing Gamespeed,” The techniques that are being shared are based on 20 years of research and the experience of teaching over a quarter of a million athletes from the nationwide Parisi system.
“Our passion at Parisi is to motivate and inspire athletes to train, to get them to learn to love the process of improvement. We are excited to share our best practices with coaches and for coaches to share with one another, not to just make better athletes, but to make harder-working motivated kids. Parisi Speed Schools are proud to be teamed with youth and high school coaches and the NFL in the gameplan to build a better future. ” Bill Parisi
