Chemical companies need to keep their knowledge up-to-date to avoid hefty non-compliance fines. We believe that our free video series is a valuable tool for the industry.

With new regulations being proposed every week along with multi-million dollar fines for non-compliance, chemical companies need to ensure that their regulatory knowledge stays current. Nexreg Compliance, the leader in chemical product compliance, can help. Nexreg has launched a free video series titled ‘Nexreg on Compliance’ which addresses hazard communication (HazCom) issues for jurisdictions such as Canada, the United States and the European Union.
Compliance issues are making headlines; recently the EPA awarded a multi-million dollar fine to Monsanto Company and OSHA issued fines of over $6 million to Imperial Sugar. Small businesses are not immune either, a pool surfacing company in London, Canada made headlines when a 19-year old worker suffered an injury which could have been avoided if an MSDS was made available to the worker as per Canadian law. Chemical companies both big and small need to ensure they are not the next ones making headlines for the wrong reasons.
Three first three videos in the series have been released:
- If I Sell in Canada, Do I Need a French MSDS?
- GHS: Can I Get an MSDS that is Compliant Everywhere?
- Bill C-36: Canada’s Consumer Product Safety Act
Nexreg plans on adding a new video every Friday. The questions answered in the video series will come from viewer requests, so please send your questions to info(at)nexreg(dot)com.
