Plano, TX (Vocus) July 16, 2010
The Hope Center Foundation announced today that it has received an anonymous matching gift of $20M for construction of the Hope Center. The Center is an environmentally-friendly office and conference center , the home for 44 Christian ministries. The goal of the Hope Center is to create a setting that promotes synergy, financial stewardship, and worldwide expansion among Christian nonprofit organizations. By providing opportunities for shared resources and building efficiencies through economy of scale, the Hope Center model has allowed ministries to invest more of their donor funds into ongoing ministry activities.
The 9 acre Hope Center is located on the northeast corner of Plano Parkway and Custer Road, one block north of the President George Bush Turnpike. The campus has a 185,000 square foot mountain lodge-style building surrounded by acres of landscaping, walking paths, and a prayer garden. Other amenities include: international broadcast facilities, counseling center, health and fitness center, café/food court and a bookstore. From the materials to the design, the Hope Center is designed to meet “green” standards.
The Hope Center hosts conferences and seminars targeting personal growth, leadership, missions and a variety of trainings to promote spiritual and personal growth. Anchor tenants include: Hope for the Heart, Liberty Institute, e3Partners Ministry, I Am Second, Probe Ministries and Marketplace Ministries, Inc.
