Rochester, NY (PRWEB) July 19, 2010
M&V Labor Resources, Inc. has launched their new website and a web-based application. M&V Labor excels in placing certified workers with contractors across the United States. IC9design is a rapidly growing integrated marketing solutions provider located in Bloomfield, NY that specializes in website design and development, internet marketing, content management, web-based applications, and search engine optimization.
With no previous website, M&V Labor reached out to IC9design to develop a site that would appeal to workers and contractors in the skilled trade industry. The new site boasts a gritty industrial look and easy navigation to help visitors quickly locate valuable information about the business, upcoming jobs, and job qualification requirements.
“I absolutely love the new website,” said Jesus Mendez, President of M&V Labor Resources, Inc. “The great thing about working with IC9design is they take the time to get things exactly the way you want them. Any time I had a suggestion about how things should look or operate, they gladly accepted my phone calls and worked with me to create the most appropriate solution.”
IC9design also developed a back-end application for M&V Labor that stores worker, contractor, job, and company information including addresses, worker availability, certification data, job dates, and job credentials. Workers can apply for jobs online to be automatically entered into the job pool. When M&V Labor employees log in to the system, they are greeted by an easy-to-use dashboard interface that provides a snapshot of the jobs, workers, certification expirations, and contractors in the system. The application is also capable of emailing laborer information to contractors for job procurement.
“Before IC9design developed our website, we had absolutely no online presence,” said Jesus Mendez. “Everything was word of mouth and we realized that over time it was severely limiting our customer reach. After seeing the success of other IC9design clients, we knew it was time to make the jump to the web. But I didn’t just want a website so people could find us online. It was critical that the new site make life easier for workers, contractors, and our employees. Now that we have an application to store this information, it drastically cuts down on paperwork and effectively organizes our data in one convenient location. And it’s accessible from any computer with an internet connection so we can access it offsite.”
Ian Caspersson, IC9design's Owner and Creative Director, was enthusiastic about adding M&V Labor as a new client. "I’d like to thank our current clients for spreading the good word about our services. M&V Labor heard about us through another client and contacted me to see if we could assist them in a similar fashion. They were looking for a contractor database and a way to reach out to customers online. Not only does the new site maintain the look and feel of their industry, the web-based application we developed simplifies their monotonous daily tasks and allows them to work more efficiently.”

About M&V Labor Resources, Inc.
Founded in 2007, M&V Labor was developed as a result of owner Jesus Mendez's experience in the industrial workforce as a worker, crew leader, supervisor, and job site superintendent. While working with several labor providers and contractors, the founders of M&V Labor noticed many areas where coordination and communication could better serve the workforce. As a result, M&V Labor set out to create a company that could mend these communication gaps and help coordinate all aspects of labor, environmental education, and job productivity by concentrating on job safety while taking into account contractors needs in ensuring a timely completion of projects. From staffing projects to sub-contracting, they take care of all details involving staffing from continuous education to housing for larger projects, per diem distribution, and more. Some of their work includes projects at Kodak Park and Syracuse University. For more information about M&V Labor Resources, please visit http://www.mvlabor.com or call 863-763-4006.
