A free, non-intrusive test can provide immediate temporary relief for patients suffering a number of debilitating but little-understood conditions, including fibromyalgia, constant fatigue and chronic pain.
More importantly, the test serves as a screening tool to determine if the patient will respond to the groundbreaking Neurologic Relief Centers Technique™ to relieve the symptoms of a wide range of neurological conditions.
Theory behind the technique
Meningeal compression may be caused by an encroachment or twising on the three-membrane protective sheath of the spinal cord and brain, called the meninges. Most often, this is caused by changes in the cervical spine, which reduce or distort the space through which the spinal cord and meningese must pass.
According to the Neurologic Relief Center, "any tugging on the meninges can have devastating effects on this critical and sensitive nerve action, which in turn can produce a galaxy of undesirable symptoms." Symptoms may include those of fibromyalgia, reflex sympathetic dystrophy (RSD), irritable bowel syndrome, restless leg syndrome, lupus, chronic fatige, insomnia and many more.
The pulling and irriation of these nerve roots is beliefed to cause nerve fibers to fire irregular impulses to the brain. The brain interprets these fired impulses as pain, itching, burning, coldness, numbness or other odd feelings. The body, in response to stimuli from irrication, may twitch or spasm, sparking restless leg syndrome, muscle tightness and spasms often experienced by fibromyalgia patients.
Relief from pain and symptoms
According to the National Institutes of Health, an estimated 5 million Americans suffer from fibromyalgia, a little-understood disorder that causes chronic, widespread pain and hypersensitivity to pressure. Its effects can go far beyond pain, to symptoms including fatigue, sleeplessness, difficulty in concentration, bowel and bladder problems and many others. For many, fibromyalgia syndrome can be debilitating. Medical science does not know what causes the syndrome or how to cure it.
The Neurologic Relief Center Technique™ is designed to relieve chronic pain and other symptoms attributed to fibromyalgia and other neurological conditions.
About the Neurologic Relief Centers:
The Neurologic Relief Centers is a network of more than 200 affiliated doctors and offices that have been trained in the NRC Technique™ of relieving the chronic pain of a wide range of neurological disorders through a procedure to relieve compression of the meninges - the protective sheath surrounding the brain and central nervous system. To read and view video testimonials of the successes of patients who've experienced relief, and find the location of an NRCT™ specialist near you, visit our web site at http://nrc.md.
