The St. Charles Comets are pleased to announce the addition of former Pro/College Star Peaches James and current College Star Michelle Batts to its staff

The St. Charles Comets, a highly competitive and travel softball organization with nationally ranked teams, have announced new additions to their volunteer staff for 2010-2011.

Peaches James will join in an executive training role. Peaches was an all-american at Nebraska as a pitcher before playing professionally for the Thunder, Juggernauts, and the Chicago Bandits. She has extensive expertise and will apply it to the entire Comets organization. She will be instrumental in the winter training program including coaches training.

Michelle Batts will also join as a trainer. She currently plays for Northwestern University. She has won numerous awards including All Big Ten, All Region, All Area. She is a feared hitter with an amazing personality which makes her a natural fit to work with Comets players. She will be involved in all of the Comets teams, while of course focusing on her incredible career at Northwestern.

Comets president Eric Wendt said "In the last few years we have worked exceptionally hard to take this program to the next level. Since we took our first team to the World Series just a few years ago it has been our goal to give all of the girls in our organization the opportunity to be their best. We have an excellent relationship with the Kane Cunty Dugout for facilities. We train our A teams and B teams the same and have a priority on improving skills. Having these two exceptional stars involved in our organization just does so much for the girls. In just the short time I have gotten to know them I am amazed at their abilities."

The two new trainers will officially begin their planning and work when teams return from Nationals in August.
