Customers of WD Bathrooms have a weight off their mind thanks to a new service which will boost the delivery of the company’s heavy goods.
The Sheffield-based, online bathroom retailer has responded to customer feedback and switched to a new courier to improve its delivery service. WD Bathrooms sells bathroom furniture, shower doors, Baths, accessories and everything needed to replace or renovate your bathroom which involves the delivery of large and bulky items to customer homes.
The new courier service is a two-man delivery service which has a number of benefits for customers including delivery of heavy items directly to any room in the house and a timed three-hour delivery slot so there is less waiting around for goods to arrive. And, there will be no extra cost to the customer for the new service.
WD Bathrooms Director, Mark Wilson said: “We used to deliver our goods on pallets but our customers told us they had trouble getting heavy items off the pallets. A two-man delivery service will solve this problem and be much more convenient for our customers. We are grateful to all the people who gave us this valuable feedback so we could improve our customer service.”
