Aleh Foundation USA Expands Services to Help More of Israel’s Most Needy

The Aleh Foundation USA was formed in 1984 by a group of women to help cope with the staggering need for disabled children in Israel.

For the past 21 years, the Aleh Foundation’s highly professional public relations and fund raising activities have taken the Aleh Centers in Israel from a small hospice to one of Israel’s foremost providers of care, treatment and education of the country’s most severely developmentally disabled infants and children. The Aleh System now encompasses four facilities throughout Israel, including a 25-acre rehabilitative village in the Negev. More than 700 special infants, children and young adults call Aleh home, and thousands more take advantage of Aleh’s many educational and treatment programs each day.

Buoyed by this great success, the Foundation is pleased to announce that they have taken the unprecedented step of adding several more worthy Israeli causes to Aleh Foundation’s ‘family’. Now, Aleh Foundation’s supporters will be able to choose exactly who they want to help from amongst Israel’s neediest. The Aleh Foundation invites you to visit their new, expanded website at to learn all about the new projects and how you can help. You can contribute on line or call the Foundation’s headquarters in New York. Donations can also be mailed to the headquarters at Aleh Foundation USA, 5317 13th Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11219.
