Webinar to Show How To Make Your Enterprise Application Releases Go Faster and More Smoothly

StreamStep, Inc., announced today that it will host a webcast on the gap between Development and Operations teams (“the DevOps Gap”) which is negatively impacting enterprise application release cycles. They will discuss process improvements including: better communication, collaboration and tools. The focus will be enabling IT organizations to bridge the gap and create a DevOps capability. The webinar is scheduled for July 29th at 12pm EST.

“The linkage between development and operations has become critical for business application delivery,” said Clyde Logue, Vice President and Co-Founder of StreamStep, Inc. “We are focusing on the challenges of planning, coordination, and automation as applications move across this gap into production. We are very aware from discussions with our customers, prospects and the media that the DevOps concept is so new, many are not familiar with it. They are, however, very familiar with the problems of outages and delayed releases.

“Agile development and cloud infrastructure as a service (IaaS) are enabling faster release cycles. This requires better coordination between development staff and IT Operations to meet the business needs of shipping reliable product,” continued Logue. “We will highlight the stress points, where mistakes occur, and what to do about becoming a DevOps savvy company that addresses these problems head on.”
The webinar on July 29th at 12pm EST will be approximately an hour in duration, requires no fees and registration can be found at http://www.streamstep.com.
