Thomas Ruggie of Lake County, FL Named Founding Lecturer at TRAU- The Retirement Advisor University At UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education Esteemed Retirement Advisor Advanced Certification and Education Program.

TRAU™-The Retirement Advisor University™ at UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education has formally selected Thomas Ruggie President of 401K Generation and Ruggie Wealth Management in Tavares, Florida as one of fewer than 40 financial advisors in the nation asked to be an instructor, referred to as a “Founding Lecturer”. The instructors at TRAU are dedicated to educating other financial professionals who are in the process of becoming a Certified 401(k) Professional™ by attaining their C(k)P™ designation.

“A financial advisor will have a tremendous impact, positive or negative, for both the employer and the quality of retirement for each employee participating in the plans they manage. The goal of the C(k)P is to give employers a simple and straight forward way to be sure they are choosing a qualified financial advisor.” Said Fred Barstein, Executive Director of The Retirement Advisor University.

Instructors at TRAU were chosen based on many factors including, their experience and accomplishments in the retirement industry, being named on industry lists such as the 300 Most Influential Advisors in Defined Contribution as recognized by The 401kWire, and a rigorous interview process.

TRAU curriculum consists of courses separated into three progressive levels of skill and knowledge. Each knowledge level is divided into four “Areas of Study” which are Technical Competence; Optimizing Plan Outcomes; Management and Business; and Sales and Marketing. Courses are delivered in a combination of onsite classes at the UCLA campus, virtual classroom courses E-Learning and self study.
