Phoenix-based cosmetology school expands operations to metro Salt Lake City, Utah area

Avalon School of Cosmetology, a leading beauty school with two locations in Phoenix, AZ, recently acquired one of two Salt Lake City, Utah area Taylor Andrews Academy of Hair Design locations.

The acquisition is an opportunity to expand our company and have a significant presence in the Southwestern United States region. "We're very excited about our new location in Salt Lake City," said Brandon Pobiak, President of Avalon School of Cosmetology. "To begin with, we already love the area. Additionally, Taylor Andrews is an excellent school on its own, and we'll be able to enhance their offerings by incorporating the premium cosmetology programs we offer at our Arizona campuses."

The new Avalon site, located at 1992 W. Antelope Drive, Layton, UT 84041, will serve area students looking for superior courses in cosmetology, makeup artistry and esthetics. Classes are designed to prepare students for an entry level career in the beauty industry and to enhance the skills of professionals who already work in the field.

"Our goal is to make the transition as seamless as possible so that the only thing students will notice is the availability of exciting new classes from our experienced and skilled instructors," added Pobiak. "The possibilities are endless and the opportunities are there, and we hope to continue our business expansion in the future."
