Regional IT services firm Hensley, Elam & Associates acquires compeitor in deal.

Voltaic acquired by Hensley Elam in Lexington, KY IT services firm deal.

Voltaic was a regional leader in software development and hosting.

"They were one of our fiercest competitors and neighbor for years"

Russ Hensley, CEO of Hensley, Elam & Associates (HEA) formally announced the acquisition of Voltaic, Inc on Monday. The acquisition deal between ownership of the two firms completed brings the Voltaic name, services and clients into the services of Hensley, Elam & Associates. Notices from both firms announcing the transition are arrived in the mail on Monday informing the Voltaic clients of the transition.

"Voltaic has been one of our fiercest competitors as well as a good neighbor for nine years", said Russ Hensley CEO of HEA. "We were located one floor down from them for seven years at 167 West Main Steet in Lexington. I think it is because of our synergy and past relationships dealing with each other often daily that we both know this transition is a GOOD thing for Voltaic clients. Voltaic like HEA has clients locally and nationally in many service markets with a strong reputation and commitment from the ownership," Hensley stated in the notes to clients.

As part of the transition, HEA will be gaining a complete Ubuntu based web hosting services environment that will compliment our current Microsoft Windows based private cloud that we have built with Level3 Communications. There will be no service interruptions for current clients or the Voltaic clients.

The deal marks the continued growth of HEA and its staff as a leading IT services firm in the region with hosting, development and infrastructure services in it's toolbox for clients.
