Chicken Soup for the College Soul.
Indianapolis, IN (Vocus) July 21, 2010
Motivational Speaker Scott Greenberg will train 46 of the top leaders of Key Club International. A professional youth speaker for 18 years, Greenberg will spend two days working with elected District Governors and International Trustees from multiple countries.
During their weekend training, Greenberg will facilitate a series of workshops and exercises focusing on personal growth and leadership. Students will learn teambuilding activities, public speaking, business and negotiating skills. They will also discuss values and ethical leadership.
“These are high level teen leaders,” say Greenberg. “These few dozen teenagers are leading their 250,000 members through large scale service projects. This advanced training will give them the practical skills necessary to succeed.” This is the fourth year that Greenberg has been brought in as a youth speaker to facilitate this program.
Key Club International is the largest student service organization in the world, with chapters on 5,000 high school campuses, primarily in the United States and Canada. It has grown internationally to the Caribbean nations, Central and South America, and most recently to Asia and Australia.
Greenberg has a long history with Key Club. He has been the motivational speaker at three of their international conventions and has keynoted many District Conventions. He has led several weekend leadership workshops for their general members, and served on the Key Club International Strategic Planning Committee.
