The A2DxA is an open platform that provides the end-user with the ability to design immunoassays of their choice. A non-contact dispenser provided by BioDot, Inc. is employed to print a set pattern of capture oligonucleotides in the wells of an activated A2 Plate to create an oligo capture array. Hybridization of oligo-antibody conjugates creates an antibody array. The A2DxA System includes all the reagents needed to print, conjugate and assay. Once the plate is prepared, the micro-dispenser may be programmed for automated processing of the A2 Assay. By increasing the density of tests from a single A2 plate, the A2 technology simplifies and accelerates lab efficiency and accuracy, while providing flexible solutions for the development and manufacture of multiplexed diagnostic assays. Dr. Robert Matson, President at QuantiScientifics, will introduce the new system during his OEM Lecture to be held on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at the Anaheim Convention Center.
