Stay Sharp Training in Marshall is seeking sponsors for its 2011 travel baseball team program, which launches in mid-August after a series of tryouts for 11U to 14U teams.
Sharp Training is holding open tryouts July 31, August 1, August 10 and August 14 to evaluate boys for spots on up to five travel baseball teams for ages 11U to 14U.
Stay Sharp currently manages, and founder Tom Sharpley coaches, the Battle Creek Jr. Bombers, a 12U travel baseball team that finished the season with three tournament wins. The Jr. Bombers team is sponsored by Dean Transportation, the I've Got Your Backs Foundation, JW Public Relations, Stay Sharp Training, Heritage Cleaners of Marshall and Battle Creek, Dr. Louis Chmura and Marshall Community Credit Union.
Stay Sharp Training is a Marshall-based baseball and softball training organization founded by well-known coach Tom Sharpley. Stay Sharp Training offers individual, team and group baseball and softball training, baseball and softball clinics and travel team play.
