San Francisco, CA (Vocus) July 21, 2010
Workshare, the leader in metadata removal and document comparison software, today announced the 2010 global scholarship program to help five qualified members of the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA) attend the upcoming ILTA 2010 Conference in Las Vegas. The Workshare awards will fund up to $2,500 (USD) for each individual in order to help attendees pay conference fees, hotel and travel costs.
“ILTA appreciates the scholarship offers provided to our members through Workshare,” said Randi Mayes, Executive Director of ILTA. “Our annual conference underscores our commitment to education and peer-networking, and we’re delighted that these scholarships will allow others to benefit from the event.”
All current members of ILTA are eligible to apply for the scholarships via http://www.workshare.com/ilta. The last day to enter the drawing is July 27th; Workshare will hold a random drawing and announce the recipients by August 1, 2010. Scholarship awards are non-transferrable and must be used by the person submitting the request. The ILTA Conference runs from August 22-26 at the ARIA Resort in Las Vegas.
“Given the financial challenges people are facing due to the poor state of the economy over the last couple of years, many ILTA members find the Conference fees and travel costs difficult to pay,” said Scott Smull, CEO, Workshare. “Workshare is happy to give back to the legal community and help people attend this industry event.”
The ILTA 2010 Conference includes 160 educational sessions focused on information management, organization management, applications/desktop and technology operations organized around the theme of Strategic Unity. In addition to the speakers and conference sessions, 180 vendors to the legal market will be exhibiting in demo rooms.
