SAManage is a visionary in the SaaS IT management market, with a strong commitment to innovation, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 22, 2010
SAManage, a leading provider of on-demand IT management software, today announced the appointment of Darroll Buytenhuys as its President. In his new role, Mr. Buytenhuys will oversee all aspects of the company’s sales and channel development strategy. He will also be responsible for defining and executing its plan for ongoing growth in the coming years.
Mr. Buytenhuys most recently served as a Senior Vice President and Officer at BMC Software, where he managed all company operations across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia Pacific with responsibility for over 3,000 employees in 42 countries. Prior to joining BMC, he was President of North American Operations and Worldwide Chief Operating Officer (COO) for New Dimension Software, an Israeli technology company later acquired by BMC for $800M.
“Darroll’s extensive experience in the IT management market makes him the ideal choice to lead the SAManage team as we embark on a journey of aggressive expansion,” said Doron Gordon, CEO of SAManage. “Together with Darroll and the go-ESI team, we are well positioned to serve our enterprise customers, and to take our service to the next level.”
SAManage recently formed an alliance with go-ESI, a partnership of former BMC executives focused on introducing enterprise software innovations to IT leaders. Through the partnership, SAManage will expand its presence throughout North America and Europe, targeting companies currently using legacy on-premise enterprise IT management solutions. By making SAManage solutions more readily available to companies like these, the alliance will allow them to achieve the same level of functionality, at a fraction of the cost and burden they are stuck with today.
SAManage SaaS-based IT asset management (ITAM) and IT service management (ITSM) software provides enterprise customers with an innovative, easy-to-use SaaS service that significantly reduces total cost of ownership. With SAManage, enterprises can leverage powerful, yet cost-effective tools to help better manage their IT systems, and enhance related support operations.
“I’m thrilled to be joining an exciting and innovative company like SAManage,” Buytenhuys adds. “They’ve proven to be a visionary in the SaaS IT management market, with a strong commitment to innovation, functionality, and customer satisfaction. I am looking forward to leading this capable team to become a true leader in the market.”
