Stephen H Bossin, a 40-year media industry veteran, and INFLATABLE IMAGES, a division of Scherba Industries, Inc. and a leading designer and manufacturer of outdoor advertising solutions, announced today the establishment of a dedicated New Business Development strategy. Objectives of the effort will be developing specific markets, nationally, for the company’s entire catalog of products and services, including: broadcast, print, outdoor, and digital media; conventions & trade shows; automotive; event-marketing; and major consumer brands.
Mr. Bossin’s responsibilities include: identification of new customers; development of incremental sales to current categories & customers; and creation of INFLATABLE IMAGES top-of-mind awareness to consumer and business-to-business brands nationwide.
Mr. Bossin will continue operating Out-of-Home Strategies, a company he formed in 1998 to consult companies in using outdoor media, vehicle-branding, point-of-sale displays, and revenue generation. From 2001 to 2004, Mr. Bossin was Market Manager for Viacom (now CBS) Outdoor’s Cleveland operation, during which time he turned around an under-performing franchise, nearly doubling revenue of the previous contractor’s final year in the market.
Steve’s out-of-home media career dates from 1997, when P&C Media recruited him as Vice President and General Manager of its Cleveland-based public transit media sales & operations region, where his efforts produced the highest single-year sales in the history of that system’s transit vehicles … before or since. He also oversaw media sales efforts into the company’s other markets from clients based throughout the Midwest.
Bossin’s professional career began in Cleveland, Ohio radio media sales. For 25 years, he worked in sales & station management at some of the nation’s leading radio stations and companies.
