SilkRoad technology, inc., a leading provider of talent management solutions, announced today that the second quarter of 2010 marked its 28th consecutive period of sales growth and a record quarter for new client signings. Highlights from the quarter include record sales growth, SilkRoad’s successful Users’ Conference, and continued industry recognition for its customer service and product innovation.
SilkRoad experienced a record number of new global clients and clients purchasing multiple products in the second quarter. New clients include: GroupM, ATMS, Gordon Food Service, Graebel Companies, Inc., Howard University, Regis Corporation and The University of Montana.
This quarter SilkRoad held its inaugural Users’ Conference. “SilkRoad Connections: A Global User Event” was held in Bonita Springs, Florida this past May and boasted a full list of speakers including Gartner Research’s Jim Holincheck, Bob Kelleher from The Employee Engagement Group, and Kevin Martin from Aberdeen Group. The company has continued to experience amazing feedback from clients and analysts about the May event and has started preparations for next year’s conference.

SilkRoad technology also announced its Learning Management System (LMS), GreenLight was a first major LMS to conform to SCORM 2004 4th edition. GreenLight was validated by Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) as a SCORM 2004 4th Edition early adopter. SCORM 2004 4th Edition further extends the SCORM standards to give unprecedented control to content authors and learning managers over training. The 4th Edition increases course/LMS interoperability and adds a list of enhancements, which includes increased tracking information (e.g. overall student progress, objective scoring details) and the ability for activities to now share common data.
