A frequent recipient of the elite Wine Spectator Award of Excellence, Stetson's Chop House is a classic Chicago steak house celebrating almost 30 years. The restaurant, led by Executive Chef Robert Lang, features traditional favorites and Allen Brothers prime USDA steak. A dramatic exhibition cooking area allows guests to watch culinary experts create new menu items that include specialties such as Seared Spicy Beef Ceviche, Seared Scallops,
Steamed Alaskan King Crab Legs, Chef's Specialty Maine Lobster and Avocado Salad, Grilled Atlantic Salmon, Porterhouse Steak, Filet Mignon, Lamb Chops and Lobster Tail.
Steak entrees are hand selected for the finest in quality and finished under a 1200 degree broiler. Signature sides feature a variety of fresh vegetable choices and five potato options, including a delectable Miso Sweet Potato Mash, Twice Baked Potato, and Horseradish Mashed Potatoes. Sumptuous miniature desserts such as Chocolate and Vanilla Panna Cotta Mousse with Fresh Berries and Caramelized Ginger, Old Fashioned Strawberry Shortcake, Flourless Chocolate Key Lime Cake with Oreo Crust, and Kentucky Bourbon Cheesecake are the creations of two-time Guinness World Record holder and our Chicago prime steakhouse's pastry chef Alain Roby, who has also been featured on The Food Network numerous times, as well as The Martha Stewart Show. Roby is also the author of the recently released cookbook Alain Roby's American Classics: Casual and Elegant Desserts.
Hardwood floors, warm wood paneling and embossed tin ceiling panels--reminiscent of turn-of-the-century Chicago--blend with contemporary lighting and plush cushioned seating to create an atmosphere of simple elegance at the Chicago steak house. A popular highlight of the classic restaurant's elegant decor is the photo gallery of Chicago landmarks by famed photographer David Weinberg. An intimate Wine Room is available for private dining for groups of up to 24 people and live music is featured nightly in the restaurant's lounge. Stetson's Chop House is open for dinner Sunday thru Thursday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. The lounge opens daily at 5:00 p.m. For more information on Stetson's Chop House, visit http://www.stetsonschophouse.com.
