Tractoropolis, a specialty business that caters to the vintage tractor enthusiast, is celebrating its Grand Opening in Fresno, California. Tractoropolis officially opened for business on July 16, 2010, and according to the owner, Mike Wedmore, has been an instant hit with the surrounding community.

Mike stated, "The warm reception has been overwhelming. Our customers are genuinely excited to find that we carry a huge selection of vintage tractor parts on the shelf that they can actually see and touch. Several customers described our showroom as "a candy store" for the vintage tractor owner and one customer even drove nearly 100 miles to buy parts for a Ford 9N he is restoring."

Tractoropolis, a clever name for Tractor City, also carries a vast inventory of classic tractor novelties representing name brands such as Ford Tractor, International Harvester, Farmall, John Deere, Massey Ferguson, Case, and Oliver just to name a few. Novelties include such items as license plate frames, tin signs, lanterns, door mats, board games, cups, buckets, Christmas lights, keychains, and much more.
Mike said, "The customers have been delighted to find we have unique novelty items with their favorite vintage tractor brand name right on them. Many customers who just came in for parts have left with a bag full of novelties. One gentleman exclaimed, "Oh great, my wife is finding more things to buy than I am at a tractor parts store!"

According to Mike, just today Tractoropolis received its first shipment of ERTL Farm Toys including pedal tractors, die cast models, farm playsets, and RC tractors. "I can't wait for my sons to see the store since we became an ERTL Farm Toy Dealer...they are going to be so excited!", said Mike.

For those who live too far to experience Tractoropolis in person, they have just launched their new website at http://www.Tractoropolis.com which boasts more than 180,000 vintage tractor parts online. Mike says, "The website team is designing a "world class" shopping and vintage tractor information experience for the consumers. The website is evolving daily so check it often. We are getting ready to add forums for our customers to help each other with questions about their tractors and we are currently working on a "For Sale Area" on the site so that our customers can post ads to sell their tractors and/or vintage parts."

Tractoropolis is conveniently located just off the 41 Freeway at the Bullard exit in a large shopping center with Target, Smart and Final, and the Burlington Coat Factory. You can contact Tractoropolis at (559) 435-9200 or email at Sales@Tractoropolis.com. Their address is 5622 N.
