New Freedom, Pa. (PRWEB) July 26, 2010
TBB Global Logistics (http://www.tbbgl.com), a 64-year-old, nationally-known, third-party supply chain management firm, announces the promotion of Lori Polakoff to director of new client implementation and account development. The role will focus on working closely with new clients to ensure a smooth transition and stress strategic analysis of the client's range of needs to develop the most effective supply chain management solutions.
"The addition of Polakoff to our strong sales team will not only heighten awareness and understanding of clients as they come on board, but her finance background and longstanding industry experience will also provide a new lens for better serving existing business," said Pete Bottino, vice president of sales for TBB Global Logistics. "We're eager to build on a solid 2009, which was a standout year for the sales team's achievements in new business development."
Polakoff will celebrate her 24th anniversary with TBB Global Logistics this fall and has held several positions with the company including manager of financial analysis, which involved developing tools for all functions of the company to be successful. She also launched the company's international transportation division to help customers remain competitive through global alternatives. A graduate of Allegheny College, Polakoff received her degree in international studies with a government focus area.
"My goal for this exciting new position is to support the sales team in seamlessly transitioning clients and educating them about viewing the supply chain function as a competitive weapon rather than a cost center for their business," Polakoff noted. "It will give me the opportunity to accentuate the value TBB can bring to clients' operations as a whole."
