The PeopleStreme Employee Engagement Survey has been Validated, Reliability Tested and Usability Tested with over 400,000 responses forming the Benchmark. This means that independent consultants can use the survey with confidence that they are actually measuring Employee Engagement, not anything else, given the enormous breadth of research into the positive organizational outcomes of high Employee Engagement. Employee Engagement vs. Employee Satisfaction
This survey is focused on measuring Employee Engagement where Employee Engagement is defined as the propensity for an employee to exercise discretionary effort. This is in contrast to Employee Satisfaction surveys that tell you how “satisfied” an employee is but not much about whether or not the employee is likely to exercise discretionary effort. “An employee may be very happy but not inclined to exercise discretionary effort. Most organizations are far more interested in Employee Engagement than in Employee Satisfaction surveys because positive engagement has a dramatic impact on business performance as a result of employees exercising their discretion to perform additional work. Employee Engagement is more likely to drive results, whereas Employee Satisfaction does not mean an increased propensity to exercise discretionary effort.
