PeopleStreme Human Capital has released an Employee Engagement Survey for independent human resources and organizational development consultants and their clients.

The survey is especially tailored for knowledge workers rather than industrial age organizations and is delivered online, including immediate, comprehensive online reporting, to accurately determine Employee Engagement.

Fully Tested

“This product has been developed and tested for some three years. It comes standard with Employee Engagement Benchmarks, thousands of reports, a knowledge base of Employee Engagement Remedies and instant online Reporting,” said Lyle Potgieter CEO of PeopleStreme.

“We have had significant demand for a product that independent consultants can use in their clients and this product has been specifically designed for independent consultants. It is quick to deploy, has very powerful reporting and can be deployed globally in a matter of hours”.

Customized Questions

PeopleStreme Employee Engagement Survey has a standard set of Employee Engagement questions but can also have questions added to it for deeper analysis on the client organization's specific areas of Employee Engagement. This capability to tailor the survey to specific needs is very powerful in the hands of an independent consultant.

Validation, Reliability (Test Re Test Ratio) and Usability Tested

The PeopleStreme Employee Engagement Survey has been Validated, Reliability Tested and Usability Tested with over 400,000 responses forming the Benchmark. This means that independent consultants can use the survey with confidence that they are actually measuring Employee Engagement, not anything else, given the enormous breadth of research into the positive organizational outcomes of high Employee Engagement. In addition to Validation testing, usability ratios are very high (less than 1.5% use of the Not Applicable selection). This means that users of the survey understand the questions and the questions are very applicable to users of the survey.

Employee Engagement vs. Employee Satisfaction

This survey is focused on measuring Employee Engagement where Employee Engagement is defined as the propensity for an employee to exercise discretionary effort. This is in contrast to Employee Satisfaction surveys that tell you how “satisfied” an employee is but not much about whether or not the employee is likely to exercise discretionary effort. “An employee may be very happy but not inclined to exercise discretionary effort. Most organizations are far more interested in Employee Engagement than in Employee Satisfaction surveys because positive engagement has a dramatic impact on business performance as a result of employees exercising their discretion to perform additional work. Employee Engagement is more likely to drive results, whereas Employee Satisfaction does not mean an increased propensity to exercise discretionary effort.

Availability

The PeopleStreme Employee Engagement Survey is available globally, with commissioning taking 2-5 days. Survey results are available instantly (as the surveys are received online) via questionnaires delivered electronically to survey participants.

Employee Lifecycle Series

The PeopleStreme Employee Engagement survey is part of PeopleStreme’s Employee Lifecycle suite. Employee Engagements is complemented by an Employee Attachment survey and an Employee Exit Survey. The Attachment Survey assesses how well the employee promise has been met 90 days after the employee has been employed, while the Employee Exit survey measures the reasons as to why an employee exited the organization.
