The Look Book offers a guide to key trends in stock for Autumn/Winter 2010. ‘The mix of warm autumnal colours teamed with cold petrol blues will be the colour palette for next season’ says Joanne Nye, Glam-net’s founder. ‘Luxurious textures such as boucle tweed and metallic yarns will feature strongly’ she continues. Prints and soft-tailoring will be the big story for AW10, with designers using magnified and crystallised jewel graphics.
Glam-net will continue to focus on designers new to the UK in its effort to expand consumer choice away from the high-street. The Look Book includes clothes and accessories by Bandolera, Hotel Particulier, Not so serious, Tavan & Mitto, Katherine Kwei and Orly Genger by Jaclyn Mayer; all of whom do not have wide distribution in the UK.
In addition Glam-net will be adding collections from London based designer Eugene Lin, embellished dresses from Paris based Leo Guy, and graphic prints from Italian brand Moovy.
