CNN’s Nick Valencia Confirms Participation as a Panelist During the Center for Hispanic Leadership’s Summit on Sept. 18 in Los Angeles

University of Southern California Annenberg Alum and International Desk Assignment Editor for CNN, Nick Valencia, will serve as a panelist during the Center for Hispanic Leadership’s (CHL) “Embracing Diversity through Innovation” Summit to be held on September 18, 2010 in Los Angeles.

Valencia will be lending his powerful insight as a Convergence Journalist to the panel, “The Power of Our Immigrant Perspective and Vision: Why Hispanics See Opportunity Differently and How This Translates into Effective Leadership and New Types of Opportunities.”

“The Center for Hispanic Leadership presents a different and powerful perspective to the talents inherit among Hispanics because of our cultural and ethnic experience,” says Valencia. “I look forward to having a rich discussion on commanding our cultural and professional identity –and the power that results when we converge and maximize them in our careers.”

This Summit will take place in the Junior Achievement Finance Park Mike Curb Center for Free Enterprise at 6250 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA, 90068. Proceeds will be donated to Junior Achievement, a volunteer driven, not-for-profit organization dedicated to educating students about entrepreneurship, financial literacy and work readiness, through experiential, hands-on programs.
