Skip has a great understanding of the impact design can have on business. We are thrilled to have him on board.
Seattle, WA (PRWEB) July 27, 2010
Skip Walter, a seasoned technology veteran, has agreed to join Blink Interactive Inc.’s Board of Advisors, effective July 2010.
“His years of experience and knowledge are a tremendous asset for Blink,” company Co-Founder and Principal Karen Clark said of Walter’s addition to the Board.
Walter has more than 40 years of experience in business creation, product development and technology. Walter served as Vice President of Engineering and New Venture Executive for Aldus Corporation (Adobe, Inc.), and was the founding CEO of Attenex (FTI Consulting), a legal electronic discovery company.
Kelly Franznick, Blink’s other Co-Founder and Principal, is a former student of Walter’s. Franznick says Walter has informally advised the company for years.
“Blink is excited to have Skip formally be part of our team,” says Franznick. “He has a great understanding of the impact design can have on business. We are thrilled to have him on board.”
The feeling is mutual, says Walter.
“I feel flattered to do this,” Walter says. “Whenever I teach, I generally reference Kelly – and Blink – as one of the students I am most proud of. He had enough enthusiasm to start his own company, and it is an incredible success.”
