Richard joined GCI’s Inspection Network in January 2008, and conducted home inspections since 2006. Richard Overton Property Inspections specializes in various types of inspections including physical inspections, Energy Audits and Course of Construction Quality Control Inspections both for residential and light commercial buildings.
A member of two Inspector Associations, Richard belongs to: The ICC-International Code Council, which is the oversight body for most building codes in the US; and InterNachi, a home inspector organization focused on technical skills and business management with a wealth of online resources.
Pleased to be recognized by GCI, Richard commented, “It goes both ways–doing inspections for GCI gives me greater exposure to the community and makes me more familiar to the different types of inspections and other services that are now in demand. It also gets me on to new construction sites and exposes me to new methods and materials being used and how they are applied.”
Richard Overton was selected from GCI’s Inspection Network that includes more than 4,000 inspectors across the country. GCI is frequently called upon to inspect homes and commercial buildings of various sizes and various stages of construction or renovation. By enlisting inspectors with local expertise, using innovative online technology, and upholding high quality control standards, GCI provides a diverse and superior inspection product.
GCI’s full range of residential and commercial inspection services include construction draw, property condition assessment reporting, status/audit, damage assessment, tenant improvement, acquisition and development, MOD drop, clear-lot, title datedown, easement/ALTA, pre-start analysis, forensic and track/production development, and other inspection services.
