Tricension and QuikEyes Inc. Announce New Release of QuikEyes Online, including Electronic Prescription and Claim Submission

QuikEyes, an affordable, easy to use Electronic Medical Records (EMR) and Practice Management system for eyecare practices, is available online on a subscription basis, and now includes features to support electronic prescription and electronic submission of healthcare claim information.

Tricension (http://www.Tricension.com) and QuikEyes, Inc. announce the 2010 release of QuikEyes Online (http://www.QuikEyes.com). QuikEyes Online is an Ocular Medical Record Developed by Dr. Matt Lowenstein O.D., the Software as a Service (SaaS) version represents the forth product release of QuikEyes since 2004. Dr. Lowenstein states, "we are now in our second year of the SaaS offering and have been adding subscribers from North America at a good pace. This release caps off a year of functional enhancements that include internet based patient self-registration, electronic prescription and claims submission as well as numerous functional enhancements that drive quality and efficiency in an eyecare clinic."

Over the past year, QuikEyes Online product enhancements include starting an exam from a previous patient exam, data entry efficiencies that use common exam templates and drop down selections that 'learn from" previous entries.

QuikEyes Online, a Rich Internet Application (RIA), has been developed in leading edge Software as a Service technology including Microsoft Silverlight and the .Net application framework.
