Launched on June 7th, 2010, the competition encourages Americans to break away from the mundane and expand their food horizons.

As entries have poured in, the task of determining which entrants are most in need of expanding their culinary horizons is no small job. To that end, Sabra has put together a judging panel comprised of some of the most influential food folks today. These experienced eaters and lovers of all culinary exploration will help evaluate entries to find the person most in need of an intervention.

The Judges

Jennifer is a journalist and author who is focused on the future of news and information. She was the lead reviewer in the Knight News Challenge, a $25-million five-year initiative focused on news innovation. Previously she was a reporter for The New York Times, which she joined when she was 24. She is also author of The Fortune Cookie Chronicles, a bestselling book about how Chinese food is all-American.
